Required Documents for Mortgage Applications

Banks in Morocco work in the same way as banks in the UK and Europe. What information and documents they will ask you provide will very much depend on your individual case. Below is a comprehensive list of documents and information that you maybe asked to provide:

Personal Information:

1. CV (English & French)
2. Copy of ID
3. Last 12 months bank statements
4. Land registry certificate to show you own property in the UK
5. Inland revenue certificate to say you have paid your tax for year 2007-2008
6. Last 6 months payslips – from bank account that shows your salary coming in
7. Letter from your accountant to verify your annual income

If you own a company in the UK:

1. Company Articles of Association & Memorandum of incorporation
2. Company Annual accounts for last 3 years
3. Company current bank account statements for last 12 months

The Morocco Business:

1. An introduction and very brief business plan and sources of income (English & French)
2. Any history of the hotel such as last 3 years profit and loss statements even if they are not official or filed accounts
